About Me

Meet-Lisa.jpg

I am a qualified and BACP registered, integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. This means that I am trained in, and draw on, a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing me to tailor the work to your individual needs and preferences.

I have experience in treating a wide range of psychological difficulties, from mild to more complex problems, and have a strong interest in trauma-related problems.

I work with adults age 16+, offering both short term (i.e. for clients with specific issues), and long-term therapy (i.e. for those clients with more complex issues and requiring ongoing support) and provide face-to-face sessions in my practice near Saffron Walden (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 10am – 8pm), as well as online therapy via zoom.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a psychotherapist for a counselling service in Cambridge and at the Institute of Psychiatry in a research capacity.

Prior to this, I worked for the NHS and Mind. As a member of and registered with the BACP, I adhere to their ethical guidelines and codes of professional practice.

I receive regular clinical supervision from accredited practitioners, follow a programme of continuing professional development to ensure my practice is both safe and current, and am also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection.
